This was the final traditional national McDonald's hockey card release. Two years later McDonalds produced a limited release.  Unlike the classic national McDonald's hockey sets of the 1990s and 2000s, this was a Montreal Canadiens-only regional promotion. It was tied specifically to the Canadiens and available through participating McDonald's locations in Quebec rather than being a Canada-wide NHL release.  Produced by Upper Deck this 25 card set included Carey Price, P.K. Subban and Youppi the former Montreal Expos mascot, as well as rookie cards of Alexei Emelin and Raphael Diaz. These cards are available by following the 2012 link above.

Time has aged this set very well, as there is a lot of sentimental value to these cards. There are no major inserts, just the 25 base cards. The set's value remains modest, but it is more limited than the releases of the previous 20 years.
